Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit
We have passed SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), one of the most widely accepted ethical trade audit standards worldwide. SMETA is developed by Sedex, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting responsible and ethical business practices within global supply chains. This audit assesses our factory against core ethical requirements covering labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance, business ethics and fair trade practices.During the SMETA audit, independent auditors verify multiple key areas: working hours and wages, freedom of employment, prevention of child labour and forced labour, freedom of association, workplace safety and fire protection, sanitation and welfare facilities, waste management, chemical control, anti-bribery and transparent management. We maintain complete personnel records, payroll documents and site safety files to support compliance.SMETA helps us identify potential ethical risks in our workplace and supply chain. We follow the audit findings to carry out corrective actions and drive continuous improvement. Unlike a formal certificate issued by a standard-setting body, SMETA produces an audit report shared on the Sedex platform for Sedex member buyers to review. It greatly simplifies ethical compliance verification for international customers, avoiding repeated separate ethical audits. For our overseas partners, SMETA compliance demonstrates that we operate responsibly and respect workers’ rights. It proves our factory avoids unethical practices and runs in a socially responsible way. We regard ethical trade as a core part of long-term cooperation. We will keep upholding these standards, maintain good working conditions and build sustainable, trusted partnerships with global buyers.
